Website Developer
We are looking to recruit a full time Web Developer to support, maintain and develop the Ampere Analysis web site. Ampere’s research products track millions of TV, film and video games titles throughout their lifecycles and all our data and reports are delivered to our clients via our website.
Ampere Analysis is a research and analytics firm focusing on the film, TV, games and sports sectors. Ampere works with an extensive range of media and communications companies, including Hollywood studios, public broadcasting groups, online video providers, pay TV operators, games publishers and telecoms groups.

The Opportunity
As Web Developer, you'll play a crucial role in managing and developing Ampere’s Website. The site delivers relevant research to Ampere’s clients via apps, infographics and PDF reports. It also incorporates a client database and licencing system to manage client contracts. You’ll work closely with the marketing team around the design and features of the site. You’ll also work closely with a development partner around the delivery of data via our visualization apps (using Qlik Sense).

This role provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop Ampere Analysis web site: www.ampereanalysis.com
- Support the sales and marketing team with the technical elements of HubSpot CRM
- Work with the broader development team on general projects – using existing Python skills and database knowledge (this can be developed in the role)
- Build and maintain API’s
Education
A relevant degree with up to two years previous relevant experience.
Skills & Experience
- Experience of web development
- Experience of coding in the following software languages, Django and Python, CSS and Java Script
- UX design capabilities are required for this role
- SQL and an understanding of data warehouses would be useful but can be learned on the job
The ideal candidate will either be a new graduate with a computer science (or similar) degree or someone with one or two year’s relevant experience in Web Development. This role sits under Ampere’s Business Intelligence function and will also provide opportunities to work on projects with the broader Development team.
