There were even fewer titles announced in March 2025 than in the previous month (which was already the lowest volume announced since 2020). Despite showing modest signs of recovery in February 2025, USA commissions lose out to Japanese announcements for the third time in 12 months in March of the same year. However, Western Europe was the region to show the highest level of year on year decline (-28%), as Public Broadcasters are delayed in the announcements of their annual slates.
