Despite the announcement of large annual slates from European commissioners, September 2024 saw a decline in announcements of 262 titles compared with the same month of the previous year. Annual slates did, however, see French commissioners move to the fore, despite a year-on-year decline of 31 titles, with France boasting 64 more announcements than any other market.
