How have 2023's strikes impacted US commissioning?

Nearly half of 2023 saw US television and film production halted by major industry strikes enacted by two unions: the Writers Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. This industrial action caused an all-time low for US commissioning, widely affecting major players across the board.
